Established in 1995, the school has produced several outstanding students over the last 30 years, and has earned a reputation for excellence and a high calibre of quality in the young ones that have passed through our portals on to other institutions.
2025-26 marks 30 years of Sunbeams Playschool. We propose to run special programmes all through the year to commemorate the occasion.
But for now, please enjoy this little montage of some of the moments we have had over the last 30 years.

With this vision, Mrs Susan Ninan [MA; Dip in Nursery Training] established Sunbeams Playschool in June 1995. It began with just 4 children and grew to 18 by the end of that year. Sunbeams Playschool quickly became a much sought-after institution that has helped to shape the foundations of many children who have gone on to achieve much at higher levels, helping to create a love for learning, good character and a healthy work ethic.
At the core of the school’s existence is a foundational belief in the Lord Jesus. The school does not attempt to convert any students to Christianity either directly or indirectly, but it does teach morals, through songs, stories, morning assembly and other means, that are based on the Holy Bible and a deep Christian ethos.
The school is currently managed by the Sunbeams Educational Trust, established in 2017 as a charitable trust.
